The Brief:Ā
Create a social media contentĀ forĀ their productĀ 1984 Chronograph watch emphasizingĀ it's feature 'Eco Drive'. The light-powered technology converts even the faintest sunlight or indoor light into electricity, using Citizen's unique technology. Once fully charged, it continues to operate for an extended period even in places without light, eliminating the need for regular battery replacement.
Static Ads
For theseĀ static ads, we went with the retro feel by incorporating elements from the 80s such as the cassette tapes and a film camera. Using colors such as silver and dark gray along with a serif font gives it a sophisticated feel matching it with Citizen's branding.
Rich Media
The treatment for the rich media is a bit different. Not only we want to give client other studies for the visuals but we want to visualize and emphasize the 'Eco-Drive' technology on the product. We wanted the watch and the technologyĀ to be the focus on this visual so the background and other elements are almost the same colors so that the product stands out.
